1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Movix, including the mobile application, features, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Movix. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information and for activity under your account or device.
3. The Service
Movix provides AI-powered tools that may transform images, animate photos, generate or extend videos, create talking-photo results, and apply creative styles based on content and instructions you provide. Features, models, processing times, output formats, and availability may change. Some features require a compatible device, internet access, credits, or a paid subscription.
4. Your Content and Permissions
You retain any rights you have in photos, videos, audio, prompts, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, modify, and transmit User Content solely as necessary to operate the Service, create requested outputs, maintain security, and comply with law.
You represent that you own or have all rights, permissions, and consents needed to submit User Content and to create and use the resulting output, including permission from identifiable people where required. You are responsible for your User Content and how you use or share outputs.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.
- Create or share unlawful, exploitative, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or non-consensual intimate content.
- Impersonate a person or mislead others about the authenticity or source of generated media.
- Exploit or sexualize minors, or submit content involving minors in an unsafe or inappropriate context.
- Distribute malware, interfere with the Service, bypass limits, reverse engineer protected components, or use automated means without permission.
- Use outputs for identity verification, biometric surveillance, medical diagnosis, legal determinations, or other high-impact decisions.
We may use automated and human review where permitted to enforce these rules, protect users, and respond to legal requests.
6. AI-Generated Outputs
AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, unexpected, incomplete, or similar to content generated for others. We do not guarantee that an output will be unique, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or eligible for intellectual-property protection. Review outputs before using or sharing them, and clearly disclose synthetic or altered media when required by law or context.
7. Subscriptions, Credits, and Purchases
Paid features may be offered through auto-renewing subscriptions or consumable credits processed by Apple. Prices, billing periods, free trials, included credits, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s applicable rules.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
- Apple handles payment processing and refund decisions under its policies.
- Credits are virtual items for use only within Movix. Unless required by law, credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and are non-refundable once delivered or used.
- Promotional or subscription-period credits may expire as disclosed at the time they are granted.
8. Movix Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, templates, interfaces, and materials supplied by us, is owned by or licensed to Movix and protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
9. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, misuse the Service, or if required to protect the Service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any particular prompt will produce a desired result.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movix and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
12. General Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business practices. We will post revised Terms with an updated effective date and provide additional notice where required. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, or transfer of the Service.
Applicable law and any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence will govern to the extent required. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally.
