Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Movix (“Movix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) protects your privacy when you use the Movix mobile application and related services (the “Service”). It applies to all information, including personal information, collected through the Service.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using Movix, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. This Privacy Policy forms part of and is incorporated into the Movix Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

Key Points

Selected media only

Movix uploads only the photos, videos or audio files you specifically select for a feature.

Secure processing

Selected media is encrypted in transit and temporarily processed by secure cloud and AI service providers.

Limited purpose

Your uploaded content is used only to provide the editing or generation feature you request.

Automatic deletion

Uploaded media and related processing data are deleted from cloud processing systems within 24–48 hours after your last edit.

Personal Information We Collect

Photos, videos, audio and prompts

  • Photos and videos you choose from your camera or iOS photo library for editing or generation.
  • Audio, text prompts and other instructions you choose to submit.
  • Only the specific files you select are accessed. Available metadata, such as geolocation metadata, may be removed before processing.

Face data contained in selected media

Some photos or videos you select may contain faces. To provide features such as photo animation, talking photos, AI styles and face-preserving transformations, Movix and its contracted processing providers may temporarily analyze facial position, landmarks, expression, orientation, movement or geometry.

  • Face data is processed only to generate the result you request.
  • It is not used to identify, authenticate, track or profile you.
  • It is not sold, used for advertising or used to train our or third parties’ general-purpose AI models.
  • It is shared only with contracted AI processing and cloud providers that perform the requested processing for Movix.
  • Uploaded media and derived face data are encrypted in transit and deleted from cloud processing systems within 24–48 hours after your last edit. We do not maintain a permanent face database.

Account and sign-in information

  • If you use Google Sign-In, we may receive your Google account identifier, name and email address as authorized by you.
  • If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple user identifier and may receive your name or private relay email, depending on your choices.
  • Authentication tokens and account status used to maintain and secure your login session.

Usage, device and purchase information

  • Device language, country or region, installation and last-use time, screens viewed, feature interactions and session information.
  • iOS version, device model, app version, IP address, network information and device or advertising identifiers where permitted by iOS, your App Tracking Transparency choice and applicable law.
  • Crash reports, diagnostics and performance information.
  • Subscription status, membership level, purchase history and product or credit entitlements. Apple processes payments; we do not receive your complete payment-card information.
  • Messages and information you provide when contacting customer support.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Operate, maintain and improve Movix and its features.
  • Process selected photos, videos, audio and prompts solely to provide the AI service you request.
  • Create and manage accounts, authenticate sign-in and maintain login sessions.
  • Verify subscriptions, membership levels, credits and purchase entitlements.
  • Provide support, respond to inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Analyze usage, attribution, campaign performance, crashes and app performance.
  • Display and measure in-app advertising, subject to your iOS settings and applicable consent requirements.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents and comply with legal obligations.
  • Create aggregated or anonymized information for analytics and product improvement.

We do not use or share your uploaded media or face data for marketing, advertising or any purpose beyond providing the Service feature you selected.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your uploaded photos, videos, audio or face data. We may share limited information with:

  • AI processing and cloud providers to process selected media and generate the requested result.
  • Analytics, attribution and diagnostic providers to understand app performance, usage and acquisition.
  • Advertising partners to deliver and measure in-app ads where permitted. Uploaded creative media and face data are not shared for advertising.
  • Authentication providers when you choose Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
  • Customer support and technical service providers that help us operate the Service.
  • Professional advisers and authorities where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or prevent misuse.
  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

Third-Party SDKs and Services

Movix integrates third-party SDKs and services for advertising, analytics, attribution, app stability and account sign-in. The information available to a provider depends on the feature used, your iOS settings, your consent choices and applicable law.

Each provider may process information under its own privacy policy and act as an independent controller or service provider, depending on the service and context. Use the official source link in each entry below to review the provider’s current privacy practices.

Third-party policies and service practices may change independently of Movix. Where required, Movix requests Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission before accessing data used to track activity across apps or websites. Denying tracking permission does not prevent all contextual advertising, analytics, security or attribution processing that is otherwise permitted by law.

Subscriptions, Memberships and Credit Purchases

Membership plans

Movix may offer different subscription levels with different membership benefits, usage limits, discounts, included credits or access to features. Current plans, prices, billing periods and benefits are displayed in the App and may vary by country, account or promotional offer. Please refer to the purchase screen and membership center in Movix for the details that apply to your purchase.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions are processed through Apple and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can view, manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting Movix or logging out does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Credits and credit packs

Movix may offer one-time credit packs and may include credits with certain membership plans. Credits are virtual items for use only within Movix. Unless required by law, credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another account, and are non-refundable after delivery or use. The validity period and usage rules for subscription credits, purchased credits or promotional credits are shown in the App.

Refunds

All App Store purchases are processed by Apple. Refund eligibility and refund decisions are controlled by Apple under its policies and applicable law. Movix cannot directly issue an App Store refund. You may submit a refund request through Apple’s purchase support or “Report a Problem” service. Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund a completed charge.

Your Choices

  • Device permissions: Revoke camera, photo-library, microphone, notification or tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling a permission may limit related features.
  • Advertising and tracking: Deny or change App Tracking Transparency permission in iOS Settings and adjust Apple’s personalized advertising settings.
  • Subscriptions: Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Log out: Use the Log Out option in Movix settings to end the current session. Logging out does not delete your account or cancel a subscription.
  • Delete account: Use the Delete Account option in Movix settings to request deletion of your account and associated personal information. Some transaction, security or legal records may be retained where permitted or required by law.
  • Privacy requests: Request eligible access, correction or deletion by contacting us using the email below.

Security Practices

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit for selected media and access controls for service systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

  • Uploaded photos, videos, audio and derived face data are automatically deleted from cloud processing systems within 24–48 hours after your last edit.
  • Account, sign-in, usage, attribution, analytics, support and transaction-related information is retained only as long as necessary to provide and improve the Service, protect security, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
  • After an account deletion request, eligible account information is deleted or de-identified, subject to legally permitted retention requirements.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Movix and its service providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Children’s Privacy

Movix is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

California Residents

California residents may have rights to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request correction or deletion, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Movix does not sell uploaded media or face data. To exercise an applicable right, contact us and provide enough information to verify and respond to your request. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of Movix after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
